Hi all,

Strangely, I have used the Pabellon/Pavillion Barcelona v1.2 to benchmark a new GPU system we are building. The classroom file works well too. So I have times at various samples in formats up to 4k.

Would be very interested in getting of files to run through the next stage of the cluster, if anybody would like to try. It won't be open to the internet for a few months, but we'd like to put the system through its paces.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update about what's happening in the benchmark folder in our
SVN [1]

The idea of those benchmark files is to have some rather interesting scenes
which are tricky to render, but which still could be rendered in a
reasonable time. This way we can experiment with different improvements
like portals, sampling, denoise, bvh improvements etc etc etc, all the
things where simplier scenes are not giving any definitive clue.

This set of files will be extended in the future, it'll take a bit of a
time still.

Another aspect of this tests is that now they do have reference renders
made with 32k samples. This renders could be used as a "ground truth" image
for experiments related on how quick renders are converges.

It's all still a bit under construction, but hopefully it'll already be
useful for someone or maybe someone will provide help collecting such a
tests :)
