Hi Nazim,
There's no sad thing going on, we're in contact with AMD on this. I have the email addresses of key people there, and had meeting with them at Siggraph last year. They even sent us test hardware.
Meanwhile we just need to wait. If they have news we'll hear about it. If they need help they know whom to contact.
