Hi all,

There was an interesting (not planned) chat amongst some developers today at the headquarters about technical documentation, with tangible outcomes.

Full meeting notes here:
https://devtalk.blender.org/t/technical-documentation-discussion-21-november-2022/26656

In short:
- We want to prioritize better technical documentation.
- Friday we’ll do an in-person “technical docs day” here at the HQ, which can turn into a re-occurring event with more developers/contributors.
- Decent high level documentation is hard, we want to try pair documenting/reviewing and other ways of collaborating.
- Different platforms than the Wiki and tools for developer documentation could be investigated.

Technical documentation could become a great tool onboarding and own daily work, it shouldn’t feel like a burden. Hopefully we can get something moving here!

Cheers
- Julian -
