[Bf-committers] Release cycle: Now at 3.3 Bcon3 (and 3.4 Bcon1)

Hi,

We have now entered the next phase of the release cycle.

Blender 3.3 now continues in the blender-v3.3-release branch, for bug
fixing only. Blender 3.4 development started in the master branch, for new
features.

Please focus on bug fixing in the next few weeks, to make sure Blender 3.3 (which is also an LTS release) is in good shape.

During bcon3 patch review is highly encouraged. Please try to get a pair of
eyes on your changes before they are sent to blender-v3.3-release. For
bcon4 (August 31) patch review is mandatory in the release branch.
