[Bf-committers] 3d connexion support

Hi David

I now found out that when i change the Navigation style to orbit and the Rotation style to turntable i can pan, zoom and rotate in any directon around my objekt.
But my objekt still moves in the opposite direction. I saw there is a checkbox for reverse mouse, but there is no checkbox for reverse NDOF Devise or something like that.

Hi David

1. I use Windows 10 and the open source driver from the 3d connexion site.
2. I didn't know that the 3d Mouse can't controll the objekt in blender (like in CAD) but only the 3d viewport.
3. By "it doesn't work properly" i meant that i can't navigate in the desired direction. It does everything in the opposite direction and it's not possible to rotate on any axis.
4. Did you leave the default settings in blender or did you change anything?

Thanks in advance
Samuel Huster

I've been using a Space Mouse both at work and at home for years. Windows
10 and Debian Linux respectively. I've not had problems with previous releases of Blender, and it's working well for me with the 2.8 release candidates.

It doesn't behave like CAD modeling software and 3D Connexion training tools where the mouse controls the object, but manipulates the camera view instead which I think is preferable for Blender.

What does "it doesn't work properly" mean?
