[Bf-committers] Closing most mailing lists

Im okay with this but I feel the transition might be a little rough at
first.

Side note while we are at it why not close all mailing lists and upgrade to
a
more modern version of mailman. AFAIK there is not an easy way to upgrade
without starting over and our version is quite outdated.
