[Bf-committers] Blender 2.79 Release Candidate 2 AHOY

Why is the .zip file advertised as 'portable' on the download page ?
We write to the users profile folder for settings and any 3rd party
add-ons that get installed by the user. Which is exactly what portable
applications are not supposed to do [1]

'standalone' instead of portable will probably be better.

Also it being hidden behind the 'macOS, GNU/Linux, and other platforms'
drop down is making the 32 bit builds (and zip versions) harder to find
for end users (people on irc were already complaining about not being
able to find things).

The website looks great, but can we give some thought on how end users
will actually use the website?
