Hello all,

Congratulations on the great release!

I'm one of the developers responsible for snapd at Canonical (
https://snapcraft.io), and would just like to let you know that on Ubuntu
or other Linux distributions that accept classic snaps, installing 2.79 may
now be done with:

sudo snap install --classic blender

This works on any of the latest Ubuntu releases, and the installed binaries
are the exact ones made available in the downloads page (IOW, it was not
rebuilt as typical for deb packages).

The 2.80 release is also available via the --channel=edge command line
flag.

As a regular Blender user, I'm a fan of your work. Thanks, and keep it up!
