[Bf-committers] Need help with blender 2.76b bug

Hi, I maintain blender in openSUSE, this is not a blender bug. The 
reporter has a problem with blender in Leap:42.3 the Leap's have version 
2.76b because it was the last version that built with python 3.4, 
Tumbleweed has the latest version.
The reporter experiences a break up of graphics when hovering the mouse

The reporter has AMD Radeon HD 6850 with opensource driver.
I cannot reproduce this with intel graphics and the reporter states that 
this didn't happen in Leap:42.2 with the same blender.

Where can I look for the cause of this problem?
I've built a debug blender which he has installed and am waiting for him 
to post the output of blender --debug-wm
Where can I look for the cause.
