[Bf-committers] External effects for VSE and or compositor nodes

Hello,

But as an orphaned module, with so little dedication. I think there are 
no plans or even will to improve its architecture in mid-term. It's sad 
to read this, as Blender is by far the best thing we have in GNU/Linux 
for video editing.
