with the selection code, I think some care is to be taken to allow input
from Vive and other 3d mouse devices,
(implementing this early could spare headaches later* )

another question -

Could a plane inside of the blender viewport have a rendered texture, of
say your desktop, or chrome, or slack etc, to bring API or tutorials,or a
online tutor inside your blender workflow? (this could really help people
learn blender faster)
