First of all, think we're rather safe for 2.77 (meaning, no need in
2.77-RC3).

= Issues to be solved =

There is still some issues in VSE which don't make me totally happy, this
is about T47790. While VSE never worked fully correct here (previously it
was always rendering scene with transparency, now it follows OpenGL render
settings) it's still something to be addressed in one way or another.

Being so close to the release, perhaps safe bet would be to expose OpenGL
alpha mode next to OpenGL shading type in the scene strip settings and look
into real solution after the release.

= Release notes =

Please make sure all your awesome new features are listed in the release
notes [1].

= Timing =

Propose to agree on commits to be backported today, do a backport but AHOY
tomorrow afternoon. This way everyone will be welcome to run regression
tests on actual release branch.
