[Bf-committers] "Blender, an appraisal from a first time user"

I wanted to make a proof of concept of the "task selection in the splash
screen", but figured out it would be simpler to quickly cod it and take a
screenshot of it.

So here it is:

Simple diff against the "space_userpref.py" of 2.76 is attached. I am
currently on a windows machine without a Blender dev environment setup or
git to do a proper git diff, but if this look like an acceptable solution
to you I can open a proper task on phabricator.
