[Bf-committers] Blender developer meeting notes - November 23, 2014

Hi all,

After a careful review by Campbell and Sergey, and discussing it with Dalai, we concluded that it's better to apply the branch in master right after the release, and have the full 2 month release cycle for it to mature.

We're already late with our planning - and last minute big branch mergers are always giving us problems.

So: the upcoming release will be more light-weight, a few new features, but mostly with a whole lot of fixes! We'll stick to the planning and go for official testbuild RC in 2 weeks, release in 3.

Thanks,

-Ton-
