[Bf-committers] OSX: Cocoa + Tkinter crash

Hello all,

for the past few weeks I have been trying with the help of Jens Verwiebe get
past this bug:

So far what we found are related issues and an official warning saying that
Tkinter may not work well with Acqua.
Not very exciting or promising. The same tkinter libraries work fine in the
standalone Python though.

Jens also believes that this may be something trivial for an experienced OSX
developer. Thus this call for help :)
I hope some can shed some light on this.
