[Bf-committers] Why did the font get squished!? I can't change it anymore!

Why did Blender switch to the Cycles condensed UI font? I hate the cramped
font, and I always replace it when I'm building blender. Unfortunately, now,
replacing the bfontcondensed with the regular bfont isn't working anymore,
and I get the cramped font no matter what I do. Does this have something to
do with Garlic Branch?
