[Bf-committers] Node improvements branch ready for merge

The "particles-2010" branch is in trunk now. Detailed info on the wiki page [1]

The file structure in the nodes directory has been changed, so coders
using new node code in their branches and projects need to be aware
and move/rename their files! Details can be found under [2]
