[Bf-committers] UI changes from cycles branch

Hi Brecht,

I would like to have seen this proposed differently. Namely:

- Mention the changes in defaults that are part of themes already
   (means, users with saved themes won't notice any change!)

- Propose which new options could go to themes
   (The area/region embossing can get themable for example)

- Suggest to deliver the default startup.blend with two themes;
   one more 'flattened' and one more 'embossed' (as 2.5x).

I'm actually quite sure most of the changes are either already in
themes, or easy to add or fix to get work right. Saves a lot of
useless discussions if we can solve it that way.

The UI & Style stuff I worked on was really meant to be flexible, so
we can give Blender fresh fashionable looks once a while. :)
