[Bf-committers] About return removed 'partially working' functionality

I can't find any traces of this feature, testing 2.5 alpha releases and
looking at the code changes. If this worked it was probably unintentional,
due to a bug elsewhere in the code. It's not a difficult feature to add if
some developer is interested though.
