[Bf-committers] Worth a look? Open Source Raytracer from Intel

A short look at the Embree Raytracer from Intel gives me the impression 
that it is fairly similar to Cycles. It was released as open source 
under the Apache License, Version 2.0. Maybe it can provide some good 
hints for some improvements.
