[Bf-committers] In need for help/documentation for modifiers

For now i was looking at the header files of the modifiers. But i miss 
essential information/documentation. Did someone already document the 
callback functions? Currently I'm a little bit stuck, not knowing which 
functions i will have to implement, or when they will be called. Some 
hints available?
