thanks for your feedback.
I know you are working on a plug-in for blender 2.5. We are for now
focusing on importing collada in blender 2.49.
About my armature questions. Can you point me to documentation or
gurus that can answer them (that would save me some experimentation
time)?
I will be happy to discuss about technical and logistic aspects of the
collada importing plugin in a conference call. Let me know if you
believe we can organize that.
