[Bf-committers] Proposal to Remove Features

my two cents:

- Particle instance modifier saved my arse a few times when needing to
export particle duplicated objects as OBJ/MDD for transferring to other
apps, this is not covered by regular exporters, the beauty of the particle
instancer is that as long as the particle count doesnt change over the
exporter frame range it wont mess up the vertex count or order so point
cache works.

Of course the exporters could be made to work like they should without the
need of the particle instance modifier

- Blend Sky: I use this all the time for environment lighting effects so
using the compositor does not cover all the common use cases

- Animatable object layers: just the question of "then what?", what replaces
this functionality?

This are the features that would represent a problem for me if they get
removed just like that without offering a better alternative :)

good day
