[Bf-committers] Tiled Compositing Render: Progress?

I just finished reading Pablo's post over at the Sintel blog
(http://www.sintel.org/news/sintel-the-4k-experience/) and I have been
wondering if there has been any progress on the tiled rendering for
the compositor?

As someone that uses the compositor heavily, I am wondering if there
is anything that can be done to accelerate the project?
