[Bf-committers] "Security" gets in the way

I hope I'm wrong and is something I have missed from the "Security"
discussion but is leading to dangerous thougths ....Dropping python?!?!?!

Python support has being one of the best steps Blender has ever made, even
before the industry standard packages start considering python (when each
one implement their own scripting language leading to a migration chaos
among them)
 I think dropping python is not an option, is a suicide ;) and is
definatelly more harming than all the possible threats that is suppose to
solve.
