in other editors I have used to enter international and symbols,
you hold the alt key, and enter the 4-digit utf code for the character,
then release the alt key.

Subject: [Bf-committers] International Input

Hi,

Due to this bug<https://projects.blender.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=22036&group_id=9&atid=498>i
had a look at International Input Support in Blender and it seems
there is
not, is that right? (please point me on how to use it if there is) Also i
found some other problems besides the one that bug reports: you can't enter
a character like 'á' into a TextInput because is written like '´a' but you
can copy the 'á' character from a text editor outside Blender and paste it
without problems in the TextInput. The same happens with the TextObject.

What would be needed to add International Input Support to blender? This
will apply mainly to the text editor and the Text object since it may be
better to avoid special characters in text inputs (so text sould be
converted when pasting text there).

Regards,

Ignacio
