Hi,

A bit late... been busy!

1) 2.49a

- bug fixing... tracker got 40+ new reports, we have to check on them 
this week!
- win version with 2.6 py: Nathan will work on that
- GE: Vertex array enable/disable: menu back for now? It had a long 
discussion, but a real fix (runtime detection) is probably too much for 
a quick fix, the menu at least gives control.

Everyone agreen on waiting at least a week, get bugs solved, and next 
sunday decide on 2.49a update.

2) GSoC

All students have started, check or join the GSoC mailing list for 
updates:

3) Blender 2.5

- Still more work needed on RNA wrapping! Contact Brecht for it...
- UI work still is on adding templates, and restructuring button menus 
in Python
- Ton wants to validate use of Operators fully still, especially for 
flexible usage in toolbars, menus, hotkeys, python, and assembling 
macros out of it. Is high prio now!

4) Current projects

- Benoit added (GE only now) a Level of Detail method. Ton/Brecht will 
review.
