Some sites work, but some not... very selective DNS error. ;]

Or it could be a (couple of) server(s) having issues, or some remote
router gone mad. Mostly because after some repeated "unresolvable"
errors some weeks ago, I added the IP to hosts file as workaround, and
that reduced but not completly fixed the problems. For example, just
now, I got:

svn: OPTIONS of 'https://svn.blender.org/svnroot/bf-blender/branches/blender2.5/blender': could not connect to server (https://svn.blender.org)

And it keeps on doing that, without or without the hardcoded IP. I
even compared the resolved IPs of the four hostnames, in two complete
different machines to discard local DNS issues: wiki and www share the
same IP (.220), while svn and projects point to two IPs (.229 and
.221).

The best advice is to contact the server admins.
