Subject: [Bf-committers] Relative Paths as default setting

It has always bothered me why the use relative paths option isn't enabled by
default under the save & load preference panel. I personally find relative
path to be much more useful than working with absolute path. What does
everyone else think?

I understand relative path can't be used until a blender file is saved. So
it is possible to perhaps store all the asset path as absolute, and when the
blender file is saved, automatically invoke the convertion to to relative
