I committed it, awesome job on the patch!  You can do vert and edge
select similar next if you want.  There's also select shortest path.
Or bmesh_polygon.c could do with some cleaning up.  Or if you wanted
to tackle something hard (but possibly more fun), you could port over
the triangles to quad code.  There's probably other options I'm
forgetting, too.

Anyway, just tell me what you want to do and I'll help you do it.
