[Bf-committers] Blender with transparent window

i don't think its an issue with my drivers, because i have tried with with
different drivers and i always see the transparent window.  (i'm using
Nvidia GTX 9500, Ubuntu Gusty and Hardy)

this only happens with:
blender-2.49-RC1-linux-glibc236-py25-i386-static
