How is it failing ?
CMake is tested every night on all major platforms, Windows + cl.exe from the 
command line being on of the primary platforms:

You have to run it from an environment which is set up to use the MSVC command 
line tools, i.e. from the cmd.exe which you get from the start menu entry for 
the Visual Studio tools.
