This covers UI elements (buttons, menus, etc) only.
In 2.4* the text editor always uses a bitmap ASCII font and only
supports ASCII text. Since 2.5 draws the text editor differently, it
may be possible to display UTF characters there (now, or after some
work). Don't know about editing though.
