[Bf-committers] Blender 2.48, getting close...

Campbell asked me to look into a bug that turned out to be Windows having issues with the ".blender" folder name. Is there any chance we could rename that to something normal, like just "blender" (no period)? Please?

Subject: [Bf-committers] Blender 2.48, getting close...

Hi,

Quick status report:

Bug tracker is at a record low of 31 now! Still some open ends:
- Geoffrey Bantle mentioned last meeting to look at bevel issues, any
update?
- I guess the open FFMPG issues are in the "WIP" category?
- raytracing regression (due to adaptive sampling) we probably have to
live with, like in 2.47
- Some Windows installer (directory) issues, also for later?
- Sky atmosphere currently is limited to work on non-raytraced material.

Open issues I can clearly mention in logs, of course.

I'd like to know if people have showstoppers to mention... otherwise
I'd suggest to freeze svn like tomorrow afternoon euro time, and
release during weekend when the builds are in.
If release builders are not available, let me know!

(Also: the Apricot project DVD should go to print... monday latest)

Thanks,

-Ton-
