[Bf-committers] GForge upgrade

Hi all,

Our projects.blender.org site uses a quite antique version of GForge, 
which has been much improved in the past years.

I have a friendly offer from http://gforgegroup.com/ to get their 
version (fork) installed, including support, but this is not the open 
source version of gforge... that's http://gforge.org. Of course, 
gforgegroup will offer software and help without costs.

For me, I don't care much what runs, for as long as it works for us. :) 
But, would be wise to get opinions on this from frequent users (and 
maintainers) of the projects site.

BTW: migrating to other projects systems/trackers is possible, but 
mostly very tedious to get all history over as well...
