Also, 'twould be nice if the colorband itself displayed the correct
(selected) interpolation.  When I first played around with it I
thought it was borked because changing the interpolation type didn't
do anything to the colorband.

I assume your getting around to that of course, but... meh.  I don't
even know why I pointed it out.  Just fix it! :-P
