This is a nice feature, but the scenario in the picture looks
counterintuitive. I would expect the color in the preview to
be 2/3 red, then green for the last third, and no blue. To me it
seems like you are selecting the color from a position that is
higher in value than the current point, rather than lower -- why
is that?

I would expect this to work analogous to a layer IPO -- the layer
in an animation doesn't change until you hit a frame with a key
that changes it. Similarly, I would expect the color from the color
bar to not change until you hit a set position that changes it
(it seems like you have done this, but going in the reverse direction,
from high to low).

Anyways, I hope this criticism makes sense.
