[Bf-committers] Layer system code

I had a thought this morning.
What if Groups had visibility toggles(visible/invisible).
Then even with the 20 standard layers which can be named,groups (which already can be named) can act as sublayers as well.Thus removing the need for a total revamp of the layer system and giving additional theoretically more pseudo layers.One additional benifit is that it will fit easier with the 2.5 recode project with minimal effort.

I'm going to toy around with the codebase this week and test it out.But, let me know what you think.
