Not sure what Ton means here, but one reason might be that Verse does
not do any file I/O. The network I/O it does do is using datagrams,
which are not large enough to need this support.

Or, he meant that since nobody uses Verse anyway, it doesn't matter if
it breaks. :) I don't know enough of the current state of stuff to
say.
