Hi all,

I was editing blenkernel/intern/blender.c and suddenly saw this in the 
header:

blender.c: /*  blender.c   jan 94     MIXED MODEL */

I checked backups, and could even find a blender.c from dec 1993, 
exactly 15 years ago! At that time it was only a test for a subdivision 
layout system, it didn't do anything.

Grepping in an old C code backup gave me this history;

toets.c: may 94

Summer 1994 Blender became sortof usable.
So... let's presume dec '93 was the conception, and august '94 the 
birthdate of Blender? Then we got something to celebrate at Siggraph 
2009. :)
