Cheers, I compile versions of blender using scons almost on a daily
basis. Since yesterday (or the day before that) Blender hasn't started
because of a segfault occuring at startup. The screen turns gray for a
fraction of a second prior to crashing. I'm using the new Ubuntu 8.04
(clean install from saturday) and building trunk without anything extra
added - just svn up && scons. My Ubuntu version is amd64 on an intel
core 2 duo based laptop (nvidia graphics).
Btw, blender 2.46 RC2 works perfectly. I even tried the apricot branch
(disabled ffmpeg support because I couldn't get it to link) and it has
the same problem as trunk.
Any info on this?
Thanks,
Mats Holmberg
