Platform maintainers:

- Windows: Nathan L, Andrea W
- Linux: Ken H (32 and 64 bits), Diego B, ... (arne, rui and shaul  
volunteered in past...)
- OSX: Jean Luc (ppc), devroo (intel)
- FreeBSD: Hans L
- Sun Solaris: Kent M

Todos for 2.46:

- Point cache
- make chroot available for building linux version
- OpenMP in linux seems to to not run with new glibc, platform  
maintainers look at it
- some linux distros save blender with a .blender/ dir read-only
- FFMPG windows... unresolved, needs more test
- OpenMP windows: seems to need official MSVC pro license. Not a 2.46  
target
- FFMPG gets two more codecs, making release a couple of MB larger  
(sob! :)
