Hi Aaron,  I'm not trying to be a jerk here but it might sound like it. ;)
In general you don't want to commit user-config.py or user-def.mk
they were created this way so that they were not actually in the
archive.  That way when you make changes to them cvs/svn doesn't
complain about your modifications, and when they are not in svn you
will not accidently commit stuff that messes things up for everyone.

I know your in your own branch, but its a good idea to get use to it 
now. ;)
