Error reported

Error libglut not found
I was trying to install blender245-x86_64 static and non static however 
both unable to install in my Mepis64 encounter same error - missing 
libglut.so.0.

The earlier version 2.44 installed without any technical glitches and 
libglut was not being used in the previous final version (if I'm not 
mistaken)
