Calling bash that way is unportable. And maybe requiring bash is
avoidable anyway.

There is no i386-64 CPU, the 86 CPUs have well known names already.
Using "- "when it is the basic separator already can lead to problems,
as side note.

And guess.config is way out of date, now that I had to look at this
part of files.
