Hi Tom,
I completely understand about the time and priorities; especially due to the plans for Peach and Apricot. Hence, I don't want to pester developers too often. But anyway, I will try my best to join in on IRC on Sunday; would be interesting to see how everyone collaborates in online meetings :)
Cheers,
Ahmad

not going to cut it ;)
Nope not really - it is that just being in channel and saying 'hey can
someone please review my patch' is a big incentive for someone to do
so, instead of it being on the massive todo list. Also if you are
'right there' they can ask questions make/comments right then which
can save a lot of back and forth time in comments of the tracker.
Most of us do feel a bit guilty about the state of the tracker since
most of us realize how much it sucks to have your patch sit there
uncommitted. On the otherhand, time is a scarce commodity and doing
patch review is time consuming and not the funnest thing in the world
to do. Also our developer base has been gaining in 'real life'
obligations, which means many have had less Blender time available.
