[Bf-committers] Again: DVar and Var tooltips

Hi,

seems like my last message didn't make it through (although it did arrive
here), so, here we go again:

The tooltips for "DVar" and "Var" in the texture map-to buttons now
are essentially the same. However, both sliders do different things
obviously (tested with various combinations of settings). So, the question
is:

1) Are the sliders redundant, and can one of them be removed?
2) If 1) is the case, then the different visuals they produce must
     be a bug
3) If 1) is not true, then why does the tooltip for both say
     the same thing?

(The "Var" slider appearently sets the influence of the texture for
anything that is NOT covered by the other sliders (Col, Nor, Disp). This coincides
almost exactly with those mapping parameters which are explicitly mentioned
in the new "DVar" tooltip, so, both tooltips are semantically identical).

Further clarification needed, I think!
