[Bf-committers] Ripping Tool

Hi,

I don't agree. Try to use both tools and discover it yourself why they  
are totally different.

The 'Rip' is a mouse driven tool, the location of mousecursor and the  
motion you make both are important. 'Split' is only an operation on a  
selection.
Rip is in the category "Grab", Split is more like 'Subdivide'.
