>From what I had heard, there are plans to change things in current
machines (add new machines, move things around...). That would be a
good moment, as then one can select what is needed for OSes, DBs,
installed server software...

So probably better to get an official declaration about that project
and the time frames. Otherwise we are going to keep on with the "when
do we move?" over and over.
