It seems like this does fix meta strips, but sometimes, meta strips are not
nestable. For example, the following setup can't be made into a meta strip:

The contents of the meta strips (they're all the same) is pasted in low alpha
over one of the meta strips.

I'm not involved enough in the sequencer anymore to decently fix this
though, I think..
